Kim, a local with 30 years of experience in the food industry, has a rich background that includes running Kim’s Cuisine catering, preparing dinners at the Dargaville RSA, and was kitchen manager at the Food in School Programme at Dargaville High School.

The Dinner Sorted initiative was born from frequent requests for meal support for those who find it challenging to cook due to age, busy schedules, difficult circumstances, or simply needing convenient meal options.
